Social Media & Relationships

It's safe to say in 2019 everyone has a social media page, from twitter to Instagram, snapchat and facebook etc. It's gotten so bad that people think if you don't post it then it's not happening in real life and then you have some people who believe that when you delete your social media page that it automatically means you're getting yourself together to become a better person and the number one thing that's always being looked at is relationships. People who post their partner the most are always looked at as goals and those who don't it seems like it's so easy to assume that their relationship isn't as solid. Now I don't agree with that because social media is just entertainment and it's not real life and it shouldn't determine any real type of bond or feelings between people, but yet it's still nice to do for someone right? Isn't it nice to see someone share how they feel about you to the world. I know out of all of my friends Im the number one person with the mushy post's, maybe it's because Im a writer but whatever it is I love to share posts and pictures of those I care about and most of my friends have that same energy lol. Now what happens when they don't though? Is it okay for you decide to just stop posting about that person since they don't post you, or is it selfish for you to expect someone to post you just because you post them? Or is Social Media so irrelevant to you that it shouldn't even be a topic in the first place?
